Title: Connection issues in pp, using python 2.6
Post by: royv on January 26, 2014, 03:56:45 AM
Hi,

When using the default port (60000), I keep getting the following exception:

Exception in thread client_socket:
Traceback (most recent call last):
  File "/usr/lib64/python2.6/threading.py", line 532, in __bootstrap_inner
    self.run()
  File "/usr/lib64/python2.6/threading.py", line 484, in run
    self.__target(*self.__args, **self.__kwargs)
  File "/usr/bin/ppserver.py", line 176, in crun
    ctype = mysocket.receive()
  File "/usr/lib/python2.6/site-packages/pptransport.py", line 194, in receive
    msg = self.socket.recv(e_size-r_size)
error: [Errno 104] Connection reset by peer

When using another port, it doesn't happen.
I checked the network, pp is the only application using this port, and moving my entire project to another port is not trivial...
Any idea what can cause this? Resolution...?

Thanks!
Roy

Firewall could be the culprit.
